ALUMINUM TREATMENT

All of our aluminum used in the manufacturing of interstate highway guide and regulatory warning signs goes through a chemical etching and corrosion treatment process. In Interstate SignWays’ 169,000 square foot facility, we house our own chemical etching and corrosion treatment tanks. This allows us to maintain a higher level of quality control and production capacity. Each piece of flat sheet aluminum blanks, increment sheet and extruded panel aluminum is dipped into a chemical bath. This process etches the aluminum panel’s surface to ensure better adhesion of the guide sign sheeting as well as provides increased corrosion protection.

American sourced aluminum material is used in all of our signs created at Interstate Signways. You can trust we will provide you with industrial grade American made products for your next project.
