SHEETING APPLICATION

The application of reflective sheeting to increment, extruded panel and flag guides aluminum involves multiple steps and expertise. First the aluminum is treated to provide etching and additional corrosion protection. Secondly, depending on the type of interstate highway guide sign it is, the process to apply the reflective 3M sheeting is next. Thirdly, we apply the laminate which protects from fading and water damage of the reflective sheeting. And Finally, for extruded aluminum panel application, we run each panel down a roller that applies the sheeting and overlaps over each corner. For increment and flat guide aluminum panels, we roll the reflective sheeting onto each panel using a Rolls Roller machine. We use only the best quality reflective sheeting provided by the 3M company.
